Oil Cooler Fan Setup One thing that people ask about, is what to do about keeping their bike cool when they're stuck in traffic. They say, "An oil cooler alone won't work because there's no air flowing through the cooler." One solution is to mount fans on the oil cooler to pull air through even when you're standing still. Chuck Davis has blazed a trail in the heat of Texas and provided pictures to boot. The fans are ordinary ball bearing computer fans, and Chuck reports that he hasn't had a problem with rain or weather (I think he used the term "gully washer describing the rain he's ridden through). Currently, the fans are on a switch, but he plans to have them automatically operating with a thermostat soon. Below are pix that include the installation process.
